The Watercolour Society of Queensland's popular Annual Exhibition will return to the Auditorium at Brisbane Botanic Gardens in Mt. Coot-tha from Friday, 1st September to Sunday, 3rd September 2017.
This is the largest watercolour exhibition in Queensland and an opportunity for visitors to view works from the state’s leading watercolourists. As this is a judging exhibition, the standard of work is exceptionally high and the winners will be announced at the opening night on Friday, 1st September, starting at 6:30pm.
There will be 200 framed paintings on display, along with unframed works, miniature paintings and cards, so come along and view the winning paintings and meet the winners. The exhibition is suitable for all ages.

This exhibition will feature a range of subjects, including traditional and contemporary works with landscapes, seascapes, still life, portraits and abstract. In addition to the Traditional Category, a new section – Innovative Category – has been introduced for the first time.
All works are new, original and for sale at affordable prices. Become a judge yourself and choose your favourite painting for the People's Choice Award. You will also be able to purchase an original watercolour gift card.
