Have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time in Maryborough this July as Mary Poppins In The Park comes to town.
As the birthplace of Mary Poppins author PL Travers, where better to host this delightful festival than Maryborough? The local riverside parks and heritage streetscapes will come to life on Saturday, 1st July from 10am to 4pm and will resemble scenes from the famous movie, with a host of costumed characters and delightfully themed activities and entertainment.
There will be Nanny races, chim-chim cher-ee chimney sweep challenges, chalk drawings, street theatre and circus shows as part of a packed program that included the grand parade.
Pop-up performances and live music from local artists will delight the crowd, along with childrenís workshops filled with hands-on, creative sessions involving storytelling, puppets, circus acts, kites, yoga and umbrellas added to the fun of this famous annual celebration.
This free, family fun event is a must for any Mary Poppins fan, so save the date and donít miss out!
