Brisbane has lots of great free events on this week.

Spread over three days, patrons can head along to see cultural displays, enjoy live performances (including cooking demonstrations and live music) and purchase vegetarian food from market stalls.

This is a meaningful occasion enriched by the contribution of the Emmanuel College Highlanders at UQ, choir, ADF Catafalque Party, dignitaries and keynote speaker.

Kids enjoy climbing, crawling and bending kindergym activities.

Its a party-style class featuring choreographed dance moves and is designed to suit all fitness levels.

Sunshine Coast Council has partnered with the health and well being sector to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle during Heart Week.

Children and families can engage with the Friendly Beasts through interactive activities, which include creating a new "beast" identity by combining character features as part of a mask-making activity and more.

The evening will include live music, drink specials, Mediterranean eats and an Aperol Spritz pop-up bar to make the night even that more enjoyable.

Explores the phenomenon of studio portrait photography in Brisbane, and shows how the process of capturing and sharing a portrait evolved from the formal studio sittings of the 19th century through to the 21st century.

Enjoy a Clock Tower tour for a special insight into Brisbane City Hall, one of Brisbanes most iconic buildings and the symbolic heart of our city.

There will be free entertainments, performances and workshops including meditation, mask painting and yoga.

The paintings do not depict a specific place, rather they aim to take the viewer to a place which captures the true spirit of the Australian environment.

The service will start at 5am and will be followed by a Gunfire Breakfast and 2017 Anzac Day display at the Queensland Military Memorial Museum located on the premises.
